The Power of Legacy: FII10 Begins a New Chapter for Global Investment

As the global investment landscape enters a new era driven by dramatic technological shifts, evolving markets, and ambitious economic transformations, Saudi Arabia is poised to harness this momentum through influential dialogue.

The Global Stage Is Set

This October, Riyadh is set to become that meeting point once again, welcoming an extraordinary lineup of leaders from the worlds of finance, investment, technology, energy, and global business for the 10th edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference.

As the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute marks a decade of bringing influential voices together, its latest speaker lineup stands as a testament to the breadth of a platform that has emerged as a dynamic stage for examining not only where investment is moving, but what that investment can leave behind.

Can Investment Build a Lasting Legacy?

With the forum entering its second decade, it confronts a question that transcends markets, capital, and returns: what kind of future can today’s investments create? This theme will take center stage when FII marks its 10th edition in Riyadh from October 26 to 29, 2026.

Set to take place at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the conference will bring global leaders together to discuss how current choices can affect lasting prosperity for coming generations.

Centered on “The Power of Legacy,” the event will also explore how investment, innovation, and leadership can turn present-day decisions into lasting impact.

Four pillars are reshaping FII10’s agenda, reflecting the initiative’s broader vision for lasting impact: capital that builds, technology that elevates, societies that thrive, and leadership that inspires.

Together, they position investment as more than a financial instrument, casting it as a catalyst for economic growth, technological progress, social prosperity, and visionary leadership.

A Decade of Impact and Influence

For Princess Dr. Maha bint Mishari, Chief Executive Officer of the FII Institute, this vision is closely aligned with the Kingdom’s broader transformation agenda.

Expressing her gratitude for the royal patronage of the 10th edition, she highlighted the unwavering support of Saudi leadership for the institute’s initiatives and activities, as well as the guidance of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

Princess Maha emphasized that this support stands as a key pillar in advancing the comprehensive development envisioned by the Saudi Vision 2030 and in building a sustainable economic future.

In this context, FII10 emerges not only as a global investment event, but also as part of a broader push to link investment and innovation with the Kingdom’s long-term development ambitions.

Reflecting on the initiative’s decade-long journey, Princess Maha underscored that FII’s impact extends beyond bringing influential figures together.

Over the past decade, the Future Investment Initiative has become a vital platform for leaders who see investment as a catalyst for human progress, opening new pathways for partnerships and ideas capable of driving meaningful change.

With FII10, that vision takes on a longer‑term dimension. The edition calls on its global community to reflect on the legacy of today’s choices, the partnerships forged, and the innovations supported. Ultimately, the goal is to translate these efforts into lasting impact for people and generations to come.

The Titans Are Coming to Riyadh

From the world’s largest banks and investment firms to technology companies, energy producers, and infrastructure groups, FII10 will bring together leaders whose decisions have the power to influence markets and make a real difference in accelerating economic transformation.

Among the most prominent is Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Chairman of Saudi Aramco, and Chairman of the FII Institute. Joining him will be global financial leaders such as Jamie Dimon, Laurence Fink, and Stephen A. Schwarzman, alongside senior executives from Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Barclays, State Street, MUFG Bank, and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group.

Meanwhile, some of the biggest names in asset management and private investment, including Jenny Johnson, Marc Rowan, Ray Dalio, Robert F. Smith, Scott Nuttall, Lei Zhang, and Alex Clavel, will offer valuable insights based on years of navigating markets, identifying opportunities, and allocating capital at scale.

Apart from finance, the lineup reveals the increasingly interconnected nature of global growth. Patrick Pouyanné and Amin Nasser will represent the energy sector, while Adebayo Ogunlesi brings an infrastructure perspective. Technology leaders Dina Powell McCormick, Ruth Porat, Sandy Ran Xu, and Tareq Amin will delve into a world increasingly defined by digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

More boldly, the participation of leaders from aviation, food, mining, financial markets, and international institutions further expands the scope of the conversation.

By uniting these voices, FII10 is offering a vibrant platform for the global investment landscape where architects of capital, technology, infrastructure, and industry are placed around the same table.

Who Else Is Shaping the Conversation?

What sets FII10 apart is not simply who will speak, but who will gather around the conversation.

In addition to the global leaders taking the stage, the Institute’s partners and members will bring their own communities of innovators, investors, and changemakers to Riyadh.

Remarkably, this diverse network mirrors the expanding reach FII has built across sectors and borders and its efforts to establish an ecosystem where ideas can travel, partnerships can take root, and dialogue can ultimately translate into meaningful impact.

Unlocking the Key to Prosperity

Themed “The Key to Prosperity,” the previous edition of the conference revolved around the challenges that hinder progress, discussing what it terms the “paradoxes of innovation.”

The 9th edition featured diverse sessions on how technological and policy advances fuel economic growth and how breakthroughs in AI and emerging technologies redefine opportunities across industries.

During the gathering, participants discussed how geopolitical tensions and unequal access to resources are effectively influencing global communication and cooperation.

FII’s Journey From Forum to Global Force

Ultimately, FII10’s ambition is more than creating a moment of dialogue. Through THINK, XCHANGE, and ACT, the FII Institute has set an integrated framework designed to carry ideas forward; first by shaping the conversation, then by connecting the people capable of advancing it, and finally by supporting solutions with the potential to scale.

The 10th edition, therefore, has the potential to become more than a gathering of global leaders; it can serve as a significant launchpad for partnerships and initiatives capable of leaving a lasting legacy.

What began as an investment-oriented event has now emerged as a global platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action.

Over the years, FII has convened influential leaders from around the world and provided a vital space for major agreements and partnerships, strengthening Riyadh’s position as a prestigious hub for global investment and cooperation.
