KSrelief Promotes Medical Services for Syrian Refugees in Jordan

The clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) have provided medical services to 2,511 patients in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the fourth week of July, KSrelief accelerated the medical aids and provided the patients with the following services:

  • The internal medicine clinic examined 110 patients.
  • 278 children were examined by the pediatric clinic.
  • The emergency department received 297 patients.
  • 139 patients received treatment at the dental clinic.
  • The ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 47 patients suffering from sinus, pharynx, tonsil, and middle ear infections.
  • 180 women visited the gynecology clinic.
  • The eye clinic examined 48 patients.
  • 26 patients were treated in the cardiology clinic.
  • The diagnostic radiology clinic served 18 patients.
  • 968 laboratory tests were conducted on 328 patients.
  • 110 patients performed 171 x-rays.
  • The vaccination clinic administered 131 vaccines to 49 patients.
  • 211 patients with chronic diseases received medications.
  • The pharmacy handled 1,448 prescriptions.

KSrelief Promotes Medical Services for Syrian Refugees in Jordan

KSrelief also provided medical services to 2,271 patients in the Zaatari camp during the second week of July, as follows:

  • The general medicine clinics examined and dispensed medications to 605 patients.
  • Internal clinics examined 117 patients.
  • Pediatric clinics received 202 children.
  • The emergency department received 199 patients.
  • Dental clinics examined 137 patients.
  • 172 women visited the gynecology clinic.
  • The ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 52 patients suffering from sinus, pharynx, tonsil, and middle ear infections.
  • The eye clinic examined 45 patients.
  • 28 patients came to the cardiology clinic.
  • The diagnostic radiology clinic treated 31 patients.
  • The labs conducted 472 laboratory tests on 205 patients
  • They also performed 145 x-rays for 98 patients.
  • Vaccination clinics provided 233 vaccines to 85 patients.
  • 227 patients obtained medications for chronic diseases.
  • The health education department provided guidance to 68 beneficiaries.
  • The pharmacy dealt with 1,332 prescriptions.
