Saudi Arabia records lowest COVID-19 infections since March 2020

Saudi Arabia recently recorded the lowest number of people infected with the emerging Coronavirus (COVID-19), since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

 

The Saudi Ministry of Health announced, in a statement, that “28 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours, which raises the total number of infections to (826,478) cases.”

 

The Ministry of Health stated, “41 new recoveries from the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of recoveries to (813,992) cases.”

 

The ministry added that only two deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the Corona pandemic until now, to 9,494.

 

In all regions and governorates, there have been 69,198,422 doses of the Corona vaccine administered.

 

It was announced that the number of critical cases receiving care in intensive care had reached 40.

 

The Gulf Statistics Center said last February that the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines given in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is close to 107 million doses; while the recovery rate from the virus in Saudi Arabia reached 95%.

 

The Gulf Statistics Center stated, through its account on Twitter, Monday, that the quantity of COVID-19 vaccines given in the Cooperation Countries amounted to 106, 965,799 doses. At the same time, the confirmed COVID-19 infections reached 3,378,237 cases, the total cases of recovery were 3,144,131 cases, and the death toll reached 20069 cases as of yesterday.

 

 

The center added that the rate of recovery from the virus in Saudi Arabia reached 95%, while the percentage in the Gulf countries combined was 93.1%.

 

The Gulf Statistics Center announced that the number of COVID-19 vaccines given in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries exceeded 99 million doses, while the percentage in the Gulf countries reached 92.2%.

 

As a result, the Ministry of Health advised everyone to contact the 937 Center around the clock to receive health information and services. In addition, they advised everyone to be kept informed of developments related to Coronavirus.
