The Tomb of Eve
It is an archaeological site located southwest of the city, specifically in the Al-Amariya neighbourhood near the Red Sea coast.
Muslim belief is that Eve died and was buried in that location. It is also one reason for
naming the city, Jeddah, which means ‘grandmother’.

King Fahad’s fountain
King Fahd’s Fountain is the tallest in the world. The water in it reaches a height of 850 feet.
The Floating Mosque “Al RahmaMosque”
This distinctive mosque built in 1985 on the edge of Jeddah’s Corniche is also called the Fatima al-Zahra Mosque.
It combines the modern and ancient architecture of Islamic art; it comprises 52 external domes and the central dome. In addition, it has the latest technologies and sound and lighting equipment.
This museum is known as Bait Al Balad. It was built in the early 20th century and exhibits antiquities and handicrafts from pre-Islamic times.
Abdul Raouf Khalil Museum
This museum displays the history of the city, which dates back 2,500 years. It englobes a
mosque, the Saudi Heritage House, the Islamic Heritage House, the World Heritage House, and the Public Heritage House.
It is an artificial island in the Jeddah Corniche with many restaurants near the swimming pools and water games.
