“Kings Chef” reveals favorite dishes of King Salman

Saudi chef Tawfiq Al-Qadri revealed the favorite dishes loved by King Salman and some of the former kings of Saudi Arabia.

During his interview on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel yesterday, Al-Qadri stated that the Saudi monarch enjoys “Manto, Fermouz, Aghmash, Bukhari rice, cable rice, and Medina,” in addition to the rest of the Hijazi meals that he prepares himself.

The “Chef of Kings” said that he had previously cooked for a number of the late Saudi kings, including King Fahd and King Abdullah.

He pointed out that they also preferred Hijazi dishes from Mecca, Medina and Jeddah.

Al-Qadri added that he also cooked for some Arab leaders such as the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman, and other world leaders such as former US President Barack Obama.

He said that Sultan Qaboos was asking him to eat the Omani “Al-Qanbouri”, noting that he was very good at cooking it.
