King Salman, Crown Prince offer condolences to El-Sisi on the death of Field Marshal Tantawi

Following the death of Field Marshal Mohamed Tantawi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Saudi King Salman sent Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi a letter of condolences and sympathy.

In his message, the King said: “We learned of the death of Field Marshal Muhammad Hussein Tantawi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and as we send our deepest condolences to your Excellency, the brotherly people of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the family of the deceased.

Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, also sent a telegram of condolences to the Egyptian president, saying: “I received the news of the death of Field Marshal Muhammad Hussein Tantawi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. I ask, Allah, to cover him with his mercy and forgiveness.
