King Salman Science Oasis Receives More than 330 Talented Students from 90 Countries

King Salman Science Oasis welcomed 333 talented students from 90 countries yesterday, coinciding with their participation in the 56th International Chemistry Olympiad 2024.
The event is hosted by the Kingdom from July 22 to 30 in Riyadh.

Through interactive displays and documentaries at the King Salman Science Oasis, talented students will learn closely about the history of chemistry in the Kingdom, and its important and pivotal role in establishing the industry in the Kingdom, up to the present day.
Energy Hall
The institution welcomed 13 researchers from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Moreover, they addressed international students’ questions about research, development, and innovation in chemistry-related fields, including refining, petrochemicals, hydrogen, electronics, semiconductors, manufacturing, mining, and hydrocarbons.
During their visit, the students participated in the experience of making Taif rose perfume, which was allocated for them by the King Salman Science Oasis.
International Chemistry Olympiad
Furthermore, hosting the 2024 International Chemistry Olympiad reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing scientific knowledge. This also support youth in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
