King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has achieved first place worldwide for the second month in a row for Most On-Time Performance in June 2024, according to Cirium Diio, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The CEO of Riyadh Airports Company, Ayman bin Abdulaziz Abu Abah, stated that this remarkable success reflects the company’s keenness to providing the best travel experience and the highest level of services to travelers.

Saudia Airlines has topped the list of global airlines for punctuality of flight schedules, according to a report by the independent aviation tracking site Cirium for June 2024.
According to the report, Saudia achieved an on-time arrival rate of 88.22% and an on-time departure rate of 88.73% while operating 16,133 flights across over 100 destinations on four continents.
This outstanding success came in June, one of the peak seasons, as it coincides with Hajj and summer seasons.
“This achievement is a realization of our strategic goals to enhance operational efficiency and quality through constant improvement in flight scheduling and the employment of the best digital solutions and systems for operations management,” Director General of Saudia Group Eng. Ibrahim Al-Omar said.
Al-Omar added that maintaining an advanced level of punctuality in flight schedules is a process that requires great efforts because it depends on overcoming many operational challenges in the aviation industry.
These challenges include weather conditions, high temperatures, technical malfunctions and airport operational conditions.
Since last year, Saudia has been present in the list of the top ten airlines in the world when it comes to on-time performance.
These remarkable accomplishments mirror its commitment to providing the best standards of quality and air safety, while managing its operational processes through the largest integrated guest operations center of its kind in the Middle East.
