
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef took part in a panel discussion hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C., where he highlighted the progress of Saudi Vision 2030 as it reaches its tenth year.
During the session, Alkhorayef outlined key achievements since the Vision’s launch, emphasizing the significant transformations realized across its various phases and sectors. He noted that Vision 2030 demonstrates the Kingdom’s growing maturity in implementing a globally competitive development model.
He described the Vision as a comprehensive framework for economic transformation, one that has enhanced the resilience of the national economy, expanded opportunities for international collaboration, and strengthened Saudi Arabia’s role as a dependable partner in global supply chains and emerging industries.

The minister also pointed to the rapid advancement of the industrial and mining sectors, highlighting the strategies driving their development. He also underscored progress in building national capabilities, boosting industrial competitiveness, diversifying production, and improving the regulatory and investment landscape to support sustainable growth.
Alkhorayef concluded by reaffirming that industry and mining are central pillars of the Kingdom’s economic transformation, supported by a range of initiatives and enablers designed to attract both local and international investment.
