The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) organized a symposium in Malé, Maldives, focusing on the manifestations of intellectual extremism within educational settings.
The event was attended by Maldivian Minister of State for Defense Aishath Safoora, alongside senior officials and educators. It forms part of IMCTC’s ongoing efforts to safeguard communities from extremist ideologies.
Through such academic initiatives, IMCTC seeks to promote intellectual awareness among teachers, families, and communities—empowering educational institutions to enhance students’ resilience against extremist thinking and to cultivate an environment rooted in moderation and tolerance.
