On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, Riyadh Transport has announced an adjusted schedule for Riyadh Metro and Riyadh Bus during the holiday.
The new schedule for the Saudi capital’s public transport network takes effect from May 26 to May 30, 2026, to streamline services and ensure smooth transportation during the peak holiday season.
Under the Eid Al-Adha schedule, the Riyadh Metro will operate daily from 11:00 am until midnight.
Meanwhile, Riyadh Bus will run its services from 5:00 am to 12:00 am each day. During the same period, the Bus on Demand service will operate daily from 10:30 am to midnight.

The new operating hours aim to accommodate the increased movement and travel patterns across Saudi Arabia’s capital during the Eid holiday.
The Riyadh Metro is one of the largest transportation networks in the world, including an extensive grid of 6 main lines spanning 176 kilometers and connecting 85 stations.
Complementing the project is a comprehensive bus network designed to connect the capital’s districts with business and commercial centers, with a daily capacity of transporting over 500,000 passengers. It includes on-demand bus services and public transport parking facilities for a smooth and seamless commuting experience.
This integrated system boosts mobility across the city of Riyadh, providing multiple options that cater to the needs of residents and visitors alike, further strengthening the role of public transport as a modern and sustainable urban option.
