Heritage Commission Hosts Eid Al-Fitr Hospitality Initiative at Thee Ain Historical Village

To celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, the Heritage Commission organized a special hospitality initiative at Thee Ain Historical Village in Al-Makhwah Governorate, Al-Baha Region. The event welcomed visitors with gifts and provided them with insights into the region’s heritage, particularly highlighting the historical significance of Thee Ain Village.
Perched 2,000 meters above sea level, Thee Ain Village is a remarkable heritage site with centuries-old stone buildings featuring juniper wood roofs, sourced from surrounding forests. Its distinctive balconies are decorated with quartz stones arranged in geometric triangular patterns.
The village also includes ancient defensive fortresses, once used for protection and surveillance. Surrounded by fertile agricultural land, Thee Ain offers a captivating blend of history, architecture, and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination.
