Google Cloud Launches its New Headquarters in Riyadh
Google Cloud announced the launch of its new headquarters in Riyadh, which will serve as a center for its operations. Additionally, This will enhance innovation and support the technological ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, the company explained, in a statement, that the new headquarters will empower startups, developers, and local academic sectors by providing the latest technologies and necessary resources.
Badr Al Madi, Regional Director of Google Cloud in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said: “We will continue to promote a culture of innovation, creativity and experimentation, and encourage the development of new ideas and solutions that address local and global challenges.”
He also added: “This will help us actively collaborate with local and global partners to enhance the technical infrastructure in the Kingdom through artificial intelligence capabilities and support the growth of a vibrant tech community in Saudi Arabia.”
In November 2023, the “Google Cloud” region was launched in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant boost for local businesses. It also provides companies with the opportunity to enhance the quality of their services, achieve innovation, and excel in their respective fields.
Finally, this launch plays a key role in attracting foreign investments and elevating the Kingdom’s status as a regional technology hub. It aligns with the Kingdom’s ambitious vision for digital transformation and the enhancement of its technological infrastructure.
