“Glorifying the Sacred Land” Opens Door to Volunteering for Ramadan, Hajj Seasons 1446
The Project of Glorifying the Sacred Land of the Association of Neighborhood Centers in Mecca has opened the door to volunteering to participate in serving the guests of God during the Ramadan and Hajj seasons of the year 1446, through its “Honorable Service” activities as well as the programs “The Youth of Mecca at Your Service” and “The Girls of Mecca at Your Service.”
The Deputy General Supervisor of the project, Dr. Abdulrahman Talal Abulnoor, called on young men and women interested in participating in seasonal activities to apply electronically through the Youth of Makkah Program website, noting that the application period will continue until the 19th of Jumada al-Akhira this year.
Abu al-Noor explained that the “Youth of Makkah at Your Service” program has completed 21 years of serving the guests of Allah (pilgrims), with a variety of activities, including: assisting the tawaf (circumambulation) performers, guiding the lost, raising awareness about road safety, providing first aid services, organizing parking for pilgrims’ cars, caring for hospitalized pilgrims, in addition to several volunteer campaigns in partnership with various government entities to serve the guests of Allah.
