GCC Secretary-General says Gulf states’ security is indivisible
Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, stated that the security of the Gulf members is indivisible, applauding the degree of security coordination that exists among the GCC states’ specialized agencies.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA,” Al-Hajraf stated that “the security of the GCC nations is one, and that security coordination and integration are a crucial pillar in sustaining security and stability in the GCC states.”
Al-Hajraf took part on Saturday in the last presentation of the exercises of the joint tactical exercise of the Gulf security forces “Arab Gulf Security 3,” which is being hosted by Saudi Arabia.
The Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General praised the presentations that took place during the exercise, emphasizing that “Exercise A and “Arab Gulf Security 3” is the third joint security exercise to be held in succession and at the level of the GCC states, implemented by the Gulf police and security services, to activate the decisions of the GCC interior ministers to enhance cooperation, exchange experiences, and continuous development.
“The exercise reinforces the GCC nations’ solidarity in warding off the risks and problems facing the GCC states on the security front, including battling terrorism, organized crime, narcotics, border security, and cyber security,” Al-Hajraf said.
