Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, welcomed Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Saudi Minister of Investment, during his official visit to Egypt in El Alamein.
Additionally, the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini, was also present at the reception.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance and expand cooperation between the two sides and to strengthen investment opportunities in the health sector.
Al-Falih emphasized the deep and historical connection between the two countries and expressed a desire to attract Saudi investments in various aspects of human health. This includes pharmaceutical industries, complementary industries, and raw materials.
He highlighted that both Saudi Arabia and Egypt have strategic geographical positions. Moreover, this makes them key gateways for supporting investments in the health sector across Asia, Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean region.
On his part, Engineer Al-Falih emphasized the efforts to enhance investment between the two countries, both at the government and private sector levels. Furthermore, this will enhance developmental goals and lead to lucrative investments for both sides.
