Egyptian President Leaves Saudi Arabia after Performing Hajj

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and his delegation departed Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, today after performing Hajj rituals, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Saudi senior officials bade farewell to Mr. Sisi and his delegation at King Abdulaziz International Airport, including Mecca Region Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz and the Deputy Secretary of Jeddah Governorate, Eng. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Qarni.

Furthermore, the President was seen off by the Director of Jeddah Police, Major General Suleiman bin Omar Al-Tuwairb, the Consul General of Egypt, Ahmed Abdel Majeed, and the Director General of the Royal Protocol Office in Mecca, Ahmed Abdullah bin Dhafer.

Earlier on Sunday, Sisi expressed his sincere appreciation to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman for their warm welcome he had been met with while performing the rituals.

Moreover, he praised the Saudi authorities for the extraordinary services and smooth procedures provided to the pilgrims during this year’s season.

On Thursday, Sisi headed to the Kingdom to perform Hajj 2024 that majorly takes place during the four-day Adha Eid.

Sisi First arrived in Madinah, where he prayed at the Prophet’s Mosque and visited the Prophet’s grave.Then, he went to Mecca to start the Hajj rituals.
