Saudi Arabia’s High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Aramco in Riyadh to boost the bilateral cooperation in industrial security, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The signing ceremony marked the attendance of the Governor of HCIS, Eng. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, and the Senior Vice President of Safety and Industrial Security at Saudi Aramco, Eng. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Ghamdi.
The Assistant Governor of the HCIS for Engineering Affairs and Licensing, Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdul Qader Al Abu Issa has signed the MoU with the Vice President and Chief Loss Prevention Engineer, Eng. Ghassan bin Ghaleb Abu Al Faraj.
The potential cooperation will include the following frameworks:
- Launching a number of cooperative initiatives to exchange expertise
- Fostering the identity of industrial security in the Kingdom
- Unleashing new opportunities for technical and academic training and qualification in the areas of industrial security
- Meeting the needs of the labor market and enhancing the role of related professions
- Developing industrial security operations and performance measurement indicators
- Promoting the national cadres in the three fields of industrial security (security, safety and fire protection)
