Saudi Arabia Splashes Cash with 230K Hotel Units, Training Facilities for 2034 World Cup

Hammad Al-Balawi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Strategic Planning and Investment at the Saudi Ministry of Sports, said that 5 cities in the Kingdom will host the 2034 World Cup: Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, Al-Khobar, and Neom.
He made the remarks during the press conference about Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup.
Al-Balawi revealed on the sidelines of the press conference for the Kingdom’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup that there are 10 other host cities for the tournament’s fans. He also highlighted the availability of 16 international airports in the Kingdom, 15 stadiums, 230,000 hotel units in the host cities, and 134 training facilities.

The Kingdom’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup is a significant outcome of the attention and empowerment provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the unlimited support that the sports sector receives from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister.
