The American TikToker and anti-war activist, Guy Christensen, has spoken out against Israel’s torture of Palestinian detainees in prisons.
In a video on his TikTok account, known as YourFavoriteGuy, he highlighted the ongoing abuse in the Sde Teiman detainment camp, criticizing the inhumane treatment of Palestinians, which the Israeli far-right politician and former Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, publicly advocated.
Torturing Palestinians
Guy Christensen spoke about Palestinian prisoners’ abuse at the Sde Teiman camp. “What is actually going on in the camp, including Israeli doctors who treated some of the detained Palestinians there who talked about how they had to do routine amputations to these prisoners, cutting off their hands, because they were treated and tortured so badly that they had handcuff injuries that had to be amputated,” he said.
Moreover, the American TikToker mentioned shocking details about Israeli torture of Palestinians. “They talked about how they made the prisoners strapped down in beds and fed through straws. Released Palestinians came forward and talked about how they were sodomized. Look it up if you don’t know what that means. It is brutal,” he said.
“These released Palestinians talked about how the (Israeli military) had their dogs pee on the prisoners and how they were not allowed to wear any clothes,” Christensen added.
A Torture Camp
After revealing these details, the TikToker described Sde Teiman as a” torture camp.” He said: “CNN went there and took photos of what is going on. They torture Palestinians at this camp. It is a torture camp. So, now that we understand what this camp is, you can now understand what I am about to show you.”
In the light of this, Christensen pointed to an essay written by the Israeli Minister of National Security, endorsing the Palestinian prisoners’ abuse.
“Ben Gvir wrote an essay on X talking about imprisoned Palestinians and the translation of this essay is horrifying and I want to show you,” he said.
The TikToker said: “He addresses the reports of torture at that camp, in which he says ‘everything published about the abominable conditions of these vile murderers in prison was true. They ruled the prison without questions and did whatever they pleased.'”
Blatant Admission
Christensen also highlighted more excerpts from Ben-Gvir’s essay. “He goes on to say that since he became the Minister of National Security, one of his biggest goals was to worsen conditions of the terrorists in prisons and to reduce the rights to the minimum required by law,” he noted.
“He then wraps up this essay with a solution to the problem of overcrowding at Israeli prisons, to which he suggests the simple solution of enacting a death penalty for terrorists, which would solve the overcrowding issue,” the American TikToker said.
“You just saw Israel’s minister of national security admits that Israel tortured the Palestinians that they detain. And I want to remind you that Israel is arbitrarily arresting military-aged men in Gaza and that most of these detainees are released, even in camps like Sde Teiman,” he added.
Inhumane Treatment
Christensen went on to describe the torture that Palestinian detainees face at Israeli prisons. “But they still get pissed on by the (Israeli military) dogs, they still get beaten up. They still get their arms amputated, they still drink through a straw. They still get sodomized, they still get killed at Sde Teiman. Over two-dozen Palestinian detainees have been killed this year alone,” he said.
“These guys are all Zionists; they don’t have value for a Palestinian’s life. He is willing to just kill Palestinians they detained who haven’t even been tried. These men are Zionists,” Christensen noted.
