The AlUla Arts Festival has captivated the Prince of Wales, Prince William, heir to the British throne, during his recent historic visit to Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Prince William explored a curated selection of amazing works by Saudi and international artists, spanning from cutting‑edge contemporary installations to immersive open‑air experiences inspired by AlUla’s landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

During the visit, Saudi officials provided the prince with an overview of the festival’s creative programs, which annually transform AlUla into a vibrant platform for artistic expression and innovation, drawing artists and audiences from across the world.
He also engaged with a group of talented young men and women from AlUla who are active across several artistic and cultural fields.

Prince William listened attentively as they shared their experiences and noted their pivotal role in shaping the governorate’s cultural development.
The AlUla Arts Festival features a month of contemporary art, visionary design, stunning performances, and immersive experiences that combine both creativity and the timeless spirit of the oasis.

The festival also hosts the AlUla Design Exhibition at Design Space AlUla, displaying outcomes from AlUla Artists Residency Program and AlUla Design Award, as well as retail collections developed with local artisans.
