Inspection teams from the Ministry of Commerce in the Madinah Region have intensified their field visits to commercial establishments, warehouses, and storage facilities as part of a proactive seasonal plan ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative also aims to ensure the availability of food supplies and essential Ramadan goods, monitor stock levels, and maintain market stability to meet consumer demand.

The ministry’s regional branch explained that the inspection tours coincide with the start of the Umrah and visitation season, as increasing numbers of pilgrims arrive in Madinah. Conducted in coordination with relevant authorities, the campaigns focus on verifying the availability and safety of products, ensuring compliance with consumer protection regulations, and taking action against violators. The teams are also working to prevent the circulation of counterfeit and non-compliant goods and to promote a fair and transparent commercial environment.

Finally, the ministry urged consumers to report any violations by contacting the hotline at (1900) or through its official website.
