AirX Charter Secures Foreign Operator Approval for On-Demand Private Flights within Saudi Arabia
The General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted AirX Charter a foreign operator permit under Part 129, allowing the company to run on‑demand private flights within Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
AirX Charter has gained the permit after meeting all regulatory standards, aviation safety requirements, as well as applicable conditions in the Kingdom.
The move stands as a testament to GACA’s efforts to foster efficiency in private aviation and expand air services across the Kingdom.
GACA Executive Vice President for Aviation Safety and Environmental Sustainability, Sulaiman Al‑Muhaimedi, formally presented the permit to AirX Charter CEO Houssam Hazzoury at the authority’s Riyadh headquarters.
This milestone further supports the Aviation Program’s ambitious goal of unleashing new investment horizons in private aviation and providing flexible operational options to meet growing demand for business jet services, while fostering competitiveness and sustainability.
AirX Charter will launch on‑demand general aviation services across Saudi airports, bolstering the growth of the private aviation market and meeting rising tourism and business needs, while fully adhering to local and international environmental and technical regulations.
