Saudi king, Crown prince congratulate Macron on his re-election as President of France

King Salman agreed to launch the second national campaign for charitable work during the month of Ramadan, next Friday evening.

Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, the head of “Sdaya” and the head of a supervisory committee of the “Ehsan” platform, valued the care of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, for charitable work.

He also praised the government’s great support for charitable deeds, based on its keenness to enable support to reach those who deserve it, with the highest levels of efficiency and reliability through the platform.

Al-Ghamdi noted the unlimited support that Ihsan for Charitable Work finds from the Crown Prince, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority.

This had a great impact on the platform’s highest levels of charitable governance, which contributed to facilitating and quickly reaching the beneficiaries of the various groups of society with high efficiency.

The launch of “Sedaya” for the national campaign for charitable work, in its second year, is an extension of the great demand that it enjoyed in its first edition during the month of Ramadan.

It enabled donors to make their donations in a reliable and secure digital way to the various charitable opportunities and fields offered by the IhsanRD platform.

It is noteworthy that the Ihsan platform is monitored by a supervisory committee consisting of 12 government and legal entities.

The total donations it has received since its launch by the Royal Decree has amounted to more than SAR one billion and SAR 450 million, with a total of more than 22 million donation operations, benefiting more than 4 million beneficiaries.
