The Governor of the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, held bilateral meetings with several officials from “Telebras” during his visit to Brazil. The aim of the meetings was to explore best practices in the telecommunications, space, and technology sectors, in addition to discussing ways to develop joint solutions to benefit both countries.
During the meetings, the Brazilian Space Operations Center (COPE), managed by “Telebras,” was visited. The center’s role in managing and monitoring satellite systems was reviewed, and discussions were held on how to leverage experiences to develop the space sector and enhance the operational efficiency of satellites, as well as support space sustainability projects.
The meeting is part of the Commission’s efforts to develop the telecommunications, space, and technology sectors, enhance the infrastructure in the Kingdom, and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
