Saudi artists have dazzled the audiences of Beyond the Frame II Exhibition in Cairo, Egypt, with their unmatched creativity, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The participating Saudi artists have presented diverse and creative collection of artworks, fascinating attendees at the second edition of the visual arts exhibition, held at the Cairo Opera House.
Commenting on the Saudi participation, the Ceramic Art Professor at Jeddah University and one of the exhibition’s co-organizers, Dr. Nahed Turkistani, said that Beyond the Frame II Exhibition features 20 diverse Saudi artworks, including photography, sculpture, Arabic calligraphy, and various painting styles.
Moreover, she emphasized the distinctiveness of the Saudi experience in this exhibition, as it showcases innovative artistic ideas that embody the distinguished Saudi mindset, highlighting diversity and creativity.
Furthermore, Turkistani noted that this edition of the Beyond the Frame Exhibition focuses on cooperation as well as cultural and artistic exchange among the participating Arab countries. It also highlights the culture and traditions of each society.
Turkistani also expressed gratitude for the Saudi Embassy in Egypt for providing support and facilitating Saudi participation in the event.
The second edition of the Beyond the Frame Exhibition is held at the Cairo Opera House in Egypt, from September 15 to September 20, 2024. It features the participation of 50 artists who showcase their creative and unique works in photography, painting and sculpture.
The Saudi Deputy Ambassador to Egypt, Abdul-Rahman bin Salem Al-Dahas, attended the exhibition’s opening ceremony. The Exhibition is the product of the cultural and artistic collaboration of Arab countries. It displays societies’ culture and traditions through drawings, photography, performance art and digital arts.
