Saudi Crown Prince Endorses Bid Book before Submission to FIFA World Cup 2034™

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has endorsed Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2034TM, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Bin Salman’s endorsement came after the actual conclusion of the bid’s requirements and conditions before the bid book submission to FIFA in the French capital, Paris.

The book will be submitted by a prestigious delegation led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) Yasser Al Misehal.

In the same context, Prince Abdulaziz has expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering support to the sports sector.

Furthermore, Bin Turki stressed that thanks to the Saudi leadership, the Kingdom has become a pioneering worldwide destination for all prestigious sporting events.

“We are eager to host an exceptional edition of the FIFA World CupTM that will feature 48 teams in a single country for the first time in the history of the competition,” Bin Turki said.

Official Ceremony

FIFA will hold an official ceremony to feature the official bid book submission in Paris.

Prince Abdulaziz and Yasser Al Misehal will lead the Saudi delegation together with two children from the SAFF youth regional training centers.

The participation of the two children is part of a promising initiative by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to accurately crystalize the Saudi youth’s ambition to host the greatest football event all over the world.
