KSA Proposes 14 Stadiums Meeting FIFA Standards

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) won the bid to host 2034 Soccer World Cup. As a result, the Gulf country is exerting efforts to have the best ever football event. It is building state-of-art stadiums for this global event that takes place every after four years.

The Saudi file will propose no less than 14 stadiums that meet FIFA standards.

Some of these stadiums include:

  • Dammam Stadium
  • King Fahd Stadium
  • Central Jeddah Stadium
  • Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium
  • King Abdullah City Stadium
  • Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium

Dammam Stadium

Aramco appointed a consortium consisting of the Belgian company Besix and the Saudi company Al-Bawani to establish the new Dammam Stadium at an estimated cost of about 3.7 billion Riyals. Spanning an area of 80,000 square meters, it will accommodate 45,000 spectators. As scheduled, the new Dammam stadium will be ready to host the 2027 Asian Cup, reported Saudi Project on X.

Mohammed bin Salman Stadium

Among the stadiums that meet FIFA standards is the new Mohammed bin Salman Stadium. The board of directors of Qiddiya Investment Company announced the launch of the new main stadium in Qiddiya City. It will be named after Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Thus, the new stadium will be one of the most prominent in the world.

Equipped with unprecedented technologies, the stadium will also be versatile and capable of hosting the biggest sports events.

The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium will be in the heart of Qiddiya City, just 40 minutes from Riyadh.

Located on one of the peaks of the Tuwaiq Mountain at a height of 200 meters, the stadium will attract visitors from all over the world.

Moreover, thanks to its exceptional design and unique technical features, spectators will feel as if they are at the heart of the event.
