Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud, Governor of Taif, reviewed the integration of telemedicine with digital health technologies and artificial intelligence, according to Saudi Press Agency.
This aims to enhance healthcare services, in collaboration with the health cluster team in the province.
Telemedicine Integration:Virtual Medical Kit Demonstration
His Highness observed a virtual medical kit for remote monitoring. It includes a blood sugar meter, blood pressure monitor, pulse sensor, oxygen level detector, and respiratory efficiency device. These tools are linked to a virtual medicine platform at primary healthcare centers.
Moreover, this technology aids doctors in making more accurate and faster diagnoses and determining appropriate interventions like appointment booking, medication dispensing, referrals, and rapid response.
Additionally, these services are also accessible in educational facilities such as prisons, juvenile centers, orphanages, and other institutions.
