Kenya’s Defense Minister Visits Hira Cultural District

Yesterday, Kenyan Defense Minister Aden Duale visited the Hira Cultural District in Makkah, reported Saudi Press Agency.

The minister toured the sections of the Hira Cultural District’s exhibition, getting to know its contents and other components of the district. He commended the scientific content of the district, the technologies used in it, and the Kingdom’s efforts in enriching the religious and cultural experience of visitors.

Earlier Meeting Between Foreign Ministers of Both Countries

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Musalia Mudavadi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya on November,28.

This high-profile meeting took place at the Saudi house, an exclusive setting established on the fringes of the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), held in the vibrant city of Paris, France.

Kenya, Kingdom: Focus on Bilateral Ties

The agenda of their discussion was robust and multi-faceted, primarily focusing on the bilateral ties . Both ministers engaged in a thorough exploration of various strategies to further strengthen and expand these relations across multiple sectors.

Their dialogue reflected a shared commitment to forging deeper, more meaningful connections between the two nations.

Addressing Gaza Strip Situation

Another critical aspect of their conversation revolved around the complex and sensitive situation in and around the Gaza Strip.

Prince Faisal and Mr. Mudavadi, initially, discussed the conflict and subsequently the efforts for a lasting ceasefire. Moreover, they agreed on its critical role in protecting civilians caught in the crossfire.

Broader International Issues

In addition to these specific topics, the ministers exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest. These discussions were geared towards contributing to and reinforcing international peace and security, showcasing their dedication to global diplomatic responsibilities.

High-Level Participation

The meeting was also notable due to the presence of Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, the Director-General of His Highness the Foreign Minister’s Office.
