Saudi, French, Finnish Foreign Ministers Discuss Escalation in Gaza

Foreign ministers of KSA, France and Finland held phone calls to discuss the escalation in Gaza strip, affirming the importance of ceasefire
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his French counterpart, Catherine Colonna, stressed the importance of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
They discussed the importance of enabling humanitarian and relief organizations to deliver urgent and necessary aid to Gaza.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from Minister Colonna today. During the call, the two ministers discussed the importance of supporting political solutions to end the crisis. This is in accordance with the relevant international resolutions.
Furthermore they stressed the importance of stopping the forced displacement of Palestinians.
Moreover, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in all fields.
They further discussed regional and international developments of common interest.
Faisal bin Farhan also held a phone call with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen. They discussed developments of the military escalation in Gaza.
The two ministers stressed the importance of cessation of fire immediately, and enabling humanitarian and relief organizations to deliver urgent and necessary aid to Gaza.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them. They further discussed regional and international developments of common interest.
Arab Summit
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired, in Riyadh, the preparatory meeting of Arab foreign ministers for the Urgent session of the Arab Summit to discuss Israel’s aggression on Gaza.
He called on the international community to stand up and bear the its responsibilities, taking deterrent action that ends this tragedy.
He urged the international community to issue a resolution aimed at an immediate cessation of military operations.
The minister further urged the community to provide civil protection, release hostages and prisoners, and stop the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.
