KSA Reveals Saudi Green Initiative Agenda
Saudi Arabia has unveiled the agenda for the third edition of the Saudi Green Initiative Forum. Scheduled for December 4, 2023, it coincides with the 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Expo City, Dubai.
Influential Speakers and Climate Dialogue
The forum will bring together influential personalities, climate experts, government officials, and CEOs. Thus, they aim to exchange ideas and discuss effective ways to address climate challenges. Notable speakers include Standard Chartered CEO Winters, World Energy Council’s Dr. Angela Wilkinson, and several ministers.
Forum Agenda: Key Focus Areas
The forum’s agenda centers on clean energy solutions, the Red Sea ecosystem, climate action financing, and protection of Saudi Arabia’s terrestrial and marine areas. It also offers an ideal opportunity for climate action stakeholders to engage in productive dialogues, share ideas, and spotlight innovative methodologies in tackling environmental challenges and supporting global climate efforts.
Interactive Sessions and Climate Action
The forum will feature discussion sessions on four main themes: environmental work in the industrial sector, the future of the financial system, the role of innovation in transformation, and the comprehensive impact of climate action.
