Winter at Tantora Festival in AlUla to Start in Dec.
AlUla Moments has announced the return of the fifth edition of the Winter at Tantora Festival in AlUla . Starting from December 21 to January 27, it offers unparalleled entertainment experiences.
This edition will celebrate AlUla’s exceptional ambiance. It includes cultural events, music concerts, fashion shows, and sporting activities.
Furthermore, weekend events will allow visitors to explore AlUla’s beauty. The old city transforms into a vibrant winter destination, showcasing its unique desert nature.
Festival’s Proceedings
Initially, the Winter at Tantora Festival in AlUla starts with Tantora’s celebratory shows from December 22-31. These events highlight AlUla’s rich history and heritage.
On January 21, 2024, the ‘Sunset Stories’ event will feature four artistic light artworks across 4 places in AlUla, offering a memorable experience.
The festival includes the ‘New Balcony Live Concert,’ showcasing the Saudi National Band. It presents traditional songs and talents on historic building balconies.
The festival will also stage the musical play “Jamil and Buthainah” which tells the love story of Jamil and Buthainah, presented by the talented Caracalla Theatre.
Richard Mille AlUla Polo Championship
AlUla, a premier equestrian destination, will host the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo from January 15-20, 2024. It features top players in a unique desert setting.
AlUla Trail Race
Besides the championship, the AlUla Trail Race, from January 11-12, 2024, welcomes athletes and amateurs in various distance categories, offering a unique running experience in AlUla’s landscapes.
Fashion Events
Fashion enthusiasts can explore brand showcases at the fashion event, including collections from Givenchy and Tiffany & Co.
Musical Performances at AlUla Moments
Notable performances include Lebanese singer Majida El Roumi on December 29. She will perform classic Arab songs, Lebanese folk, and poetry.
Moreover, on January 12, 2024, renowned Saudi musician Abadi Al-Johar will perform, showcasing his influential music since 1968.
