The Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), has called on all tourism service providers—including hospitality establishments and travel and tourism operators—to register on SDAIA’s National Data Governance Platform.
This initiative aligns with Article (2) of the regulations governing the National Register of Controllers in the Kingdom and supports SDAIA’s work toward establishing a unified national registry to ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations.

The National Data Governance Platform is a central hub for services related to personal data protection. It enables individuals and entities to meet the requirements of the law, its executive regulations, and related guidelines issued by SDAIA.
Moreover, key services offered through the platform include compliance self-assessment tools, personal data breach notifications, privacy impact assessments, and channels for submitting complaints related to data processing.
The Ministry of Tourism urged all tourism service providers to complete their registration through the following link: https://dgp.sdaia.gov.sa/wps/portal/pdp/Registration/private. Providers are encouraged to take full advantage of the platform’s digital services, which streamline compliance with the law and its executive regulations.
In addition, the ministry also emphasized that failure to register constitutes a violation subject to penalties under Article (36) of the Personal Data Protection Law.
