SRCA Announces Integrated Emergency Plan for Ramadan in Madinah

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has unveiled its operational emergency plan for the Umrah season during Ramadan 1447, aimed at delivering comprehensive medical services to worshippers and visitors at the Prophet’s Mosque. The plan includes the deployment of 10 operational sectors, supported by 472 qualified personnel and 97 ambulance units. These units include motorcycles, electric vehicles, and golf carts to ensure swift response times.

To enhance readiness in high-density areas, SRCA has also activated air ambulance services and specialized disaster-response vehicles. The effort is further strengthened by 1,500 trained volunteers providing round-the-clock support across Madinah’s major mosques.
