Solar Energy is Part of 2030 Saudi Vision

The Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said that the announcement would be close to a solar energy project that will produce electricity at the lowest cost per kilowatt.

During the “Do not Forget Our Planet” conference, which discussed environmental sustainability and organized by the Future Investment Initiative Foundation, the Prince said that the Kingdom aims to produce 50% of electricity through renewable energy by 2030, stressing the Kingdom’s desire to expand the use of energy displacement.

He pointed out that the Kingdom has become empty among the countries that are more committed to and serious about energy efficiency programs, pointing out that the Kingdom is currently working seriously and with the commitment of workers on all energy efficiency programs, including a national energy efficiency program, energy price reform program, and the renewable energy program.
