The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has signed a new agreement with the Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief to strengthen food security and agricultural livelihoods for more than 16,000 Yemenis.
The project will support around 2,300 families across the key agricultural governorates of Abyan, Marib, and Hadhramaut. It focuses on enhancing the agricultural value chain for smallholder farmers by improving access to quality inputs, increasing irrigation efficiency, and promoting sustainable livestock and farming practices.

By helping farmers transition from low-yield crops to higher-value production, the initiative aims to raise incomes, strengthen food security, and contribute to long-term economic and social stability. The project will prioritize support for vulnerable groups, including female-headed households, older persons, and people with disabilities, ensuring inclusive and sustainable development in rural communities.
