
The National Observatory for Women at Princess Nourah University has strengthened its roles in the participation of Saudi women in development. It offered more than 41 projects and qualitative contributions during the past academic year.

Contributions, Achievements
The observatory has completed more than one project that contributed to a qualitative leap in the advancement of women, including:
- The project “The Role of Saudi Women in Society and in Various Business and Government Sectors” for the Family Affairs Council, which aims to prepare a comprehensive dossier on the role of Saudi women in society and government sectors during the year 1445.
- The project “Pioneering Women in Charity Work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” It aims to document the experiences and contributions of women in the early stages of charity work in the Kingdom for Al Nahda Society during the years 1444 – 1445. Moreover, this project is considered the first of its kind as a documentary book.

Empowering Saudi Women
During the academic year 1445 “National Observatory” participated in a series of workshops, seminars, and discussion sessions focused on women’s issues. Various topics were addressed, including mental health issues, women’s empowerment in the workplace, and contemporary family challenges.
The “Observatory” team is working on several ongoing projects, including the “Journey of Leadership and Giving in Empowering Saudi Women” project. This project aims to document the experiences of women during the early stages of empowerment and before, in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom. It seeks to impactful contributions, in favor of the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Foundation for Humanitarian Development, during the years 1445 – 1446.
