The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Deputy CEO Eng. Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani met today with the Minister of Labor and Civil Service of the Republic of Guinea, Faya Francois Bourouno, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The meeting took place at the SFD’s headquarters in Riyadh with remarkable participation from both sides.
They discussed the ways to boost the developmental cooperation between both sides to support the growth of various vital sectors in Guinea.

Furthermore, they delved into the mechanisms that can enhance Saudi Arabia’s support to Guinea by financing development projects and programmes that would achieve the social growth and economic prosperity.
Saudi Arabia, so far, has financed 18 development projects in Guinea’s growing sectors of transportation, energy, education, health and water, with a total amount surpassing 312 million dollars through soft development loans.
Moreover, the Kingdom has allocated 3 grants to Guinea through the SFD under the umbrella of the Saudi program for drilling wells and rural development in Africa, reaching 18 million dollars.
