Saudi Embassy in France Holds Seminar on Empowering Saudi Women
The Saudi embassy in France held a seminar titled: “Empowering Saudi Women and Their Achievements in Light of Vision 2030”, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, reported Saudi Press Agency. Fatima Al-Ruwaili, the wife of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to France, started the seminar by delivering a speech.

She welcomed the participants and attendees and provided an overview of the exceptional care and attention Saudi women receive from the wise leadership, as well as the achievements and gains made on various fronts within the targets of Vision 2030.
Following her speech, the event featured several contributions, then a “dialogue session” to answer the attendees’ questions and exchange opinions and ideas on empowering Saudi women. The event concluded with serving some traditional dishes and Saudi coffee, and displaying model examples of the Kingdom’s sites registered as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
A number of French women diplomats, parliamentarians, officials from NGOs concerned with women’s issues, and ladies from French society attended the seminar.
Role of Saudi Women in Innovation
It’s noticeable that Saudi women have played an important role in this development and change. This leaves a clear mark in entrepreneurship and digital innovation projects in the Kingdom.
In addition, many Saudi women have succeeded in the digital innovation sector. They aim to enhance the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the sector. This also aids in the development and progress of the Kingdom, in line with Vision 2030’s goals.
Comparatively, the vision isn’t limited to just elevating entrepreneurship and increasing project opportunities; it also aims to increase the participation and inclusion of Saudi women in all different aspects of the economy. There is a recognition of the importance of investing in the capabilities of Saudi women. This enables them to secure a better future for themselves, alongside contributing to the development of Saudi society.
