The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association started participating in the Third International Islamic Scout Camp at Strack Camp in Houston, Texas. The American Muslim Scouts Association is organizing the event under the supervision of the Boy Scouts of America. It will run until Saturday, July 6.

The association participates in this global camp to highlight the Kingdom’s role in the Islamic world, promote values of love and peace, showcase the Kingdom and its progress, and facilitate cultural exchange and learning about civilizations.

Furthermore, the camp strengthens the bonds of friendship between Saudi Scouts and scouts worldwide. It also offers insights into American civilization and culture and promotes meaningful dialogue with others.

The camp offers a high-quality program with opportunities for research, adventure and various activities. Activities include visiting NASA in Houston, workshops, and exploring hobbies such as canoeing, swimming and climbing.

Merit badges will be awarded in various hobbies as part of the merit badge program, overseen by a committee of young advisors. An international night will also be held to exchange cultures among participants, along with scouting summer parties.
