Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Norwegian Counterpart
Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, Espen Barth Ede, reported Saudi Press Agency. The meeting happened on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee’s visit to the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
Today, Friday, the Ministerial Committee assigned from the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit on Gaza arrived in the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
It is noteworthy that the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee made many diplomatic trips to a number of world capitals. These trips aim to take serious steps to cease the fire in Gaza and secure relief corridors to deliver aid into the Strip.
Meeting Discussions
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries. Moreover, they reviewed ways to strengthen and develop them in all fields. In addition, they discussed developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings. They also stressed the importance of taking all urgent steps to cease the fire, and secure relief corridors for delivering the urgent humanitarian, food and medical aid to the Gaza Strip.
The two sides discussed the importance of creating political conditions to achieve a comprehensive and just peace. This peace would guarantee the Palestinian people’s access to their legitimate rights and contribute to achieving international peace and security.
