
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Thursday condemned what he described as “brutal” Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain, reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in the face of security threats.
The Bahraini Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its armed forces had successfully intercepted and destroyed three missiles and several drones launched by Iran toward the country.
During a phone call with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Prince Faisal stressed Saudi Arabia’s support for all measures taken by Bahrain to safeguard its security, protect its territorial integrity, and ensure the safety of its citizens.
The two ministers also discussed the rapidly evolving situation in the region, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation and enhancing joint coordination to preserve regional security and stability.
