
The “AB. Bren-Falcons” team, a partnership between Saudi Arabia’s “Falcons” and the Philippines’ “EB.B.R.N”, secured the first spot in the “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” tournament final at the Electronic Sports World Cup in Riyadh.
They achieved this by defeating the Philippine team “Likud Echo” 3-1 at the Amazon Arena, amidst a large crowd. The tournament runs until August 25th.
The Saudi and Filipino teams, the “AB. Bren-Falcons”, are also waiting for the other side in the grand final tomorrow, where the Malaysian “Selangor Red Giants” team faces the Singaporean “NIB Flash” team.
The Saudi Falcons became the first team in the Electronic Sports World Cup to succeed in reaching the second final after snatching the title of the first tournament, “Call of Duty: Warzone.”
“Free Fire” championship
Moreover, the Brazilian team “Loud” took the lead with 221 points in the “Free Fire” championship on the STC Arena stage, after the third day of competitions in the second week of the largest gaming and esports event ever.
The Thai team, Buriram United E-Sports, came behind it with 213 points, and the Saudi Falcons team came in third place with 188 points. The title will be decided tomorrow evening.
- The “Dota 2 Riyadh Masters” tournament continues at Qiddiya Arena, with a total prize pool of $5 million. The competition was between 20 teams, including the Saudi Falcons team. Furthermore, it achieved strong results by winning 4 matches that placed it in an advanced position in the group.
