Saudi Dakar Rally to start 60 days from now
Dakar Rally Saudi Arabia 2022 is still in full swing, with preparations for the beginning of the largest edition in terms of participation.
From January 2 to 14, 2022, the Kingdom will host the most renowned and toughest rally in racing for the third year in a succession.
Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Chairman of Saudi Automobile Federation’s Board of Directors, affirmed that the 2022 Saudi Dakar Rally will provide motorsport aficionados with a unique experience in the Kingdom’s deserts.
He stated that “the Kingdom’s amazing achievement since hosting the rally lays a significant obligation on it to confirm the Kingdom’s capabilities and the desire of its people to host and organize the largest international events.”
The competitors in the third edition of the Saudi Dakar Rally 2022 will begin their hard journey from the Hail region, travelling to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, for a day of respite before continuing their challenge to reach Jeddah, the rally’s end point.
