Saudi Ministry of Culture launches “Taif Al-Ward” festival for 14 days
The second edition of the “Taif Al-Ward” flower festival kicked off on Saturday; Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Culture, under the patronage of Governor of Makkah HRH Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.
The festival will last for two weeks, and it includes many entertainment and informational activities.
Taif Al-Ward festival activities are held in 3 main locations, starting from Taif International Airport, the main roads and squares of the governorate, as well as the historic Shubra Palace.
All sites will be decorated with deposits with the effectiveness of a three-dimensional projection on the building.
The event will witness more than 50 live performances and performing arts in the main stage of the event and in the corridors of Al-Radf Park, in addition to the Rose Dome, which includes the largest flower painting and the largest flower basket, which will set a record.
Visitors to the Taif Al-Ward festival watch various cultural and artistic events, through concerts, in addition to musical performances.
The “Cultural Street” will include several activities, in addition to marketing farmers’ floral and rose products, and kiosks dedicated to productive families.
The Ministry of Culture seeks to organize the Taif roses festival to celebrate the cultural connotations represented by region’s rose industry, which is linked to the roots of society in Taif, its customs and authentic traditions.
