Saudi Crown Prince, Palestinian President Discuss Support for Palestinian Cause
The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, received a phone call on Monday from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, during which they discussed ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian cause.
President Abbas expressed his gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment, under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed, which has led many nations to recognise the State of Palestine.
He also praised the Kingdom’s efforts to coordinate international support for Palestine, particularly during the recent conference in New York.
The two leaders reviewed the situation in Gaza, addressing both security and humanitarian concerns.
Crown Prince Mohammed reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the violence against Palestinians, emphasising the need for the international community to address the devastating effects of the ongoing aggression and ensure civilian protection.
