Saudi Crown Prince discusses strengthening Gulf cooperation with Mohammed bin Rashid

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and peoples, within the framework of common destiny and common visions.

According to a tweet on the Dubai Media Office, the two sides reviewed during the meeting, strengthening Gulf cooperation, future aspirations, and coordination between the UAE and Saudi Arabia at various levels.

The Saudi Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for the great efforts made by Dubai in “organizing this exceptional session of Expo 2020 Dubai and the integration of national efforts to bring the global event out at the highest level of organization.”

Later on Wednesday, the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, said that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman left the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, after a two-day visit, noting that Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed was at the forefront of his depositors.

After leaving the Emirates, Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a telegram to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in which he said that his visit to the UAE “confirmed the depth of the historical and distinguished relations that bind the two brotherly countries under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his brother Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”

On Tuesday, Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, in a session of talks that dealt with bilateral relations and consolidating the pillars of regional stability, on the second stop of his Gulf tour after he visited Muscat.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed “the various aspects of strategic cooperation between the two countries, which is based on well-established elements of understanding, cooperation, joint action, and mutual interests.” They also discussed “the importance of activating joint Gulf and Arab action and some regional and international issues and files that concern the two countries.”
