“Saudi Civil Status” provides the service of registering births through Absher
The Saudi Civil Affairs confirmed the possibility of registering births through the “Absher” platform.
The official account of the Ministry of Interior Agency for Civil Status, via Twitter, stated that it is possible to request the issuance of the family record and birth certificate and to deliver them through the national address through the Saudi Post.
It tweeted, “For your safety and the safety of your loved ones, you can register the newborn through the Absher platform, through the birth registration service, and deliver them through your national address through the Saudi Post.”
It also indicated that these services are provided electronically through the Absher platform, without the need to visit civil status offices; To facilitate the citizens and reduce gatherings.
Absher is an electronic system launched by the Saudi Ministry of Interior that allows Saudi citizens and residents to conduct their transactions without the need to review the departments.
The system links all government sectors electronically. The application serves 21 million subscribers and provides more than 200 electronic services. It provides free services 24 hours a day.
