Saudi-Brazilian talks on efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed (on Thursday) international efforts to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, as well as the Kingdom’s initiative to end the Yemeni crisis and reach a comprehensive political solution, with Brazilian Foreign Minister Carlos Alberto France.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi minister, who is in Brazil, discussed efforts with France to achieve security and stability in the area and throughout the globe, as well as to clear the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction and collaborate in the fight against terrorism.

They discussed Saudi-Brazilian ties and ways to deepen them toward a close relationship in numerous spheres, as well as the significance of expanding cooperative bilateral work on regional and international problems that benefit the two nations’ interests.

The conversations covered a wide range of topics, including bilateral collaboration in a variety of disciplines, particularly in the energy sector, as well as the growth of bilateral investments, particularly in light of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
